Jung Ho Yeon, Lee Dong Hwi break up after 9 years

South Korean stars Jung Ho Yeon and Lee Dong Hwi have split after dating for nine years.

According to Soompi, both their agencies have confirmed reports of their breakup.

The pair started dating in 2015 and went public with their relationship in 2016.

Jung Ho Yeon is known for her role as Kang Sae Byeok, also called Player 967, in Netflix's "Squid Game." She bagged the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series. She was also nominated for an Emmy Award.

Meawhile, Lee Dong Hwi is iconic for his role as Ryu Dong Ryong in "Reply 1988." He also starred in "The Call" (2020), "The Handmaiden" (2016) and "The Beauty Inside" (2015). —JCB, GMA Integrated News
