TXT’s Soobin announces temporary hiatus due to health reasons

Bighit Music, on Tuesday, announced that TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Soobin will be taking a temporary break from group activities to focus on his health.

“Soobin recently exhibited signs of being unwell and visited the hospital for medical attention. The medical staff have advised that he would need sufficient time to rest and recover,” the statement read.

The statement added that although Soobin wanted to continue with scheduled activities, medical staff recommended a break.

As a result, Soobin would not be able to attend upcoming encore concerts in Japan, several fan-signing and year-end awarding events for the rest of the year.

“Soobin plans to take necessary rest and maintain his daily life to return to fans in his healthiest self again. The company will do our very best to support Soobin for him to recover and meet fans in good health,” the statement continued.

Soobin also took to Weverse to upload a handwritten message to explain the situation and thank MOAs for their support.

“I won’t make you wait long. I’ll recover soon and return with good health! I love you always, MOA,” he stated.

MOAs and fellow TXT members Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai also took to Weverse to express their support for the group’s leader. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
