Liam Payne suffered 25 injuries from fall, according to autopsy report
Liam Payne suffered a total of 25 injuries, including a serious head injury, according to an autopsy report released by Argentine authorities.
Citing the autopsy report, Iya Villania reported on “24 Oras," Friday, that the injuries were consistent with those sustained from falling from the third floor of a hotel.
The One Direction ex-singer passed away on October 16 after falling from his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
According to the police, he was alone when the incident happened, and there were indications that he experienced an episode due to alleged substance abuse.
The report also said that Liam’s items in his room were damaged. Suspected drugs and alcohol were also found inside, alongside a cellphone, lighter, energy packs, and anxiety medication.
The investigation into Liam’s death is ongoing.

Former band members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan also wrote their personal tributes to Liam on their social media accounts.
Other celebrities like Charlie Puth and Paris Hilton also mourned him on their social media accounts. Harry's mother, Anne Twist, also reacted to the unfortunate news, posting a broken heart emoji on Instagram. "Just a boy," she said.
