J-Hope of BTS greets fans online following military discharge : 'Back on the street'

J-Hope got discharged from the South Korean military on Thursday, and the first thing he did was greet fans online.

The rapper and dancer went live on Weverse and spoke to fans about his military experience.

Afterwards, he took to the BTS X account to share a photo taken from his livestream showing him in his military uniform. In the background were balloons spelling his name, hearts, smileys, and squirrels which is his representative emoji. He was also treated to cake and pastries.

“Back to the street,” J-Hope wrote.

J-Hope was discharged from the military on Thursday morning. Jin, the first BTS member to be discharged, welcomed him back.

Prior to his enlistment, J-Hope released his debut solo album “Jack in the Box” in 2022. His latest solo album “Hope on the Street Vol. 1,” dropped in March.

Meanwhile, Jin is gearing up to release his debut solo album, "Happy," which is scheduled for release on November 15.

BTS renewed their contracts with BigHit Music in 2023 and are set to reconvene as a group in 2025.
