J-Hope of BTS discharged from military
J-Hope completed his mandatory military service on Thursday, making him the second member of BTS to be discharged.
There was no official event to mark his discharge, but the BTS member greeted Korean media outside of the training center based on the livestream video of Korea Now, the official English YouTube channel of Yonhap News Agency.
His fellow BTS member, Jin, the first member to be discharged, was present to greet him.
Prior to his enlistment, J-Hope released his debut solo album “Jack in the Box” in 2022. His latest solo album “Hope on the Street Vol. 1,” dropped in March.
The rapper and dancer's solo documentary “J-Hope in the Box” premiered on Disney+ in February. It gave an intimate look at J-Hope preparing for his first solo album “Jack in the Box,” dance rehearsals, life at home, the album launch party that BTS attended, and preparations for his headlining set at Lollapalooza.
