NewJeans meets 2NE1 backstage at 'Welcome Back' concert

Two generations of K-Pop just met up!

NewJeans snapped a photo with 2NE1 backstage at the latter's "Welcome Back" concert in Seoul, South Korea last week.

In Sandara Park’s Instagram post, NewJeans could be seen holding 2NE1 lightsticks.

The two groups were also shown having a conversation together. Sandara also posted a signed NewJeans merch box from their “Supernatural” era.

Minzy of 2NE1 previously performed a dance cover of “Supernatural” with her fellow K-Pop legends.

Aside from NewJeans, Jennie of Blackpink also attended the concert.

2NE1 is heading back to the Philippines for a two-night concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on November 16 and 17 as part of their comeback and reunion tour, "Welcome Back." Restricted view seats were recently added for the in-demand November 16 show.

Meanwhile, NewJeans was in the Philippines in September for the Coke Studio: Ultimate Fandom concert.
