Taylor Swift named world's richest female musician by Forbes

Taylor Swift is now the world's richest female musician.

Citing Forbes Magazine, “Balitanghali” reported on Thursday that the American pop star now has a net worth of $1.6 billion, a $500 million increase from her estimated net worth of $1.1 billion in October 2023.

Taylor's net worth skyrocketed due to the huge success of her "The Eras Tour" and music catalog. Per the magazine, her net worth comprises nearly $600 million in royalties and tours, a music catalog worth another estimated $600 million, and approximately $125 million in real estate. In 2023, Forbes estimated that Swift earned $190 million from just the first leg of her ongoing "Eras Tour."

Following Taylor is Rihanna, whose net worth is estimated to be at $1.4 billion, with the large chunk of her wealth coming from her fashion brands Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.

Meanwhile, Madonna and Beyonce placed third and fourth, with an estimated net worth of $850 million and $760 million, respectively.

Celine Dion came on fifth with an estimated net worth of $550 million, which largely stemmed from her concert residencies in Las Vegas.

In April, Taylor was officially declared a billionaire by Forbes.

In 2023, "The Eras Tour" set a new record as it became the first tour in history to earn over $1 billion in ticket sales in 60 dates from March to November. The tour is in support of her 2022 album “Midnights.”

In April, Taylor released her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
