Jennie of Blackpink attends 2NE1’s ‘Welcome Back’ concert in Seoul
Blackpink’s Jennie is among those K-pop stars who graced 2NE1’s “Welcome Back” concert in Seoul!
On Instagram, the K-pop idol shared some snaps taken from the concert at the Olympic Park, Olympic Hall.
She also took a photo of her OOTD where she is seen wearing a baseball cap with the 2NE1 logo and holding the group’s official light stick.
“Funday Sunday,” Jennie wrote.
The 2NE1 show was a stellar affair with plenty celebrities in attendance. Apart from Jennie, former and current artists of 2NE1’s label YG Entertainment like BIGBANG, Winner, iKON and BabyMonster, among others were also present at the concert.
“Welcome Back” is the first world tour of 2NE1 after disbanding in 2016. YG Entertainment first announced 2NE1’s comeback in July, with Dara posting an exciting concert teaser.
The tour kicked off in Seoul, South Korea in October with several stops in Osaka, Manila, and Jakarta in November, before going to Tokyo in December. The tour will continue through 2025.
The Manila stop will be on November 16, 2024 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena with tickets going on sale on October 11.
2NE1 reunited last May for a photoshoot in celebration of their 15th debut anniversary. Their most recent performance as a complete group was in 2022, when the members got together for CL’s set at Coachella.
The group disbanded in 2016 and left YG Entertainment, but has had several mini-reunions through the years.
Composed of CL, Bom, Sandara, and Minzy, 2NE1 is behind the hits “I Am The Best,” “I Don’t Care,” and “FIRE,” among many others.
