Anne Hathaway confirms 'Princess Diaries 3' in teaser video

"Miracles happen once in a while when you believe!"

Anne Hathaway confirmed on Instagram that "Princess Diaries 3" is finally happening and that she is set to reprise her role as Queen Mia Thermopolis of Genovia.

In a video, the "Idea of You" actress shared a snippet of herself from "Princess Diaries 1" and a clip of Julie Andrews in "Princess Diaries 2" where both of them are saying, "Shut up."

As a teaser for "Princess Diaries 3," Anne said, "Shut up" in the present time, while "Miracles Happen" played as a background song.

"Miracles happen," Anne wrote. "Back to Genovia with Adele Lim, Disney, and Somewhere Pictures."

"The fairy tale continues," she added.

News of "Princess Diaries 3" began in 2022 when Disney was reportedly developing a continuation story to "Princess Diaries 2."

In 2019, Hathaway confirmed the existence of the screenplay of "The Princess Diaries 3" and said they "all want to make it happen."
