Park Jia, star of 'The Glory,' passes away

Park Jia, star of "The Glory," has passed away. She was 52.
Her agency, Billions, confirmed the unfortunate news on Monday, September 30 through a statement that Soompi ran.
"Park Jia passed away today (September 30) 2:50 a.m. KST after battling a cerebral infarction," a portion of the statement read.
According to Science Direct, cerebral infarction "occurs when blood flow to the brain is blocked, leading to symptoms such as speech difficulty, headache, motor weakness, and in severe cases, death."
It is "common complication of sickle cell disease and may manifest as overt stroke or cognitive impairment," it added.
In their statement, Billions shared the funeral procession for Park Jia is scheduled at 10 a.m. KST on October 2.
Park Jia most recently starred in the Netflix series "The Glory," where she played Jung Mi See, the mother of Song Hye Kyo's Moon Dong Eun.
