NCT's Jaehyun to enlist in the military in November

Jaehyun of the K-pop group NCT is all set to enlist in the South Korean military on November 4.

According to Jaehyun’s label SM Entertainment, as cited in an article by Soompi, the 27-year-old South Korean idol "applied to the Army Band and received a notification of acceptance from the Military Manpower Administration today," they said on Thursday.

The agency also said there will be no official send-off event and asked for love and support "ntil the day Jaehyun completes his military service and returns in good health."

Jaehyun will be the second NCT member to enlist following Taeyong who enlisted in April.

Jaehyun debuted in NCT in 2016, and in its sub-unit NCT U and NCT 127 in the same year. Jaehyun together with his fellow NCT 127 members performed at the Philippine Sports Stadium in January for the Philippine stop of their "Unity" tour.

In August, Jaehyun debuted as a soloist with the release of the album "J." —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA Integrated News
