J-Hope of BTS pens letter for ARMY 30 days before military discharge

BTS member J-Hope has penned a heart-warming letter for ARMYs month before he is set to be discharged from mandatory military service.

On Tuesday, J-Hope took to Weverse to say that he had already packed his luggage and had distributed his favorite items to officers who will succeed his position after his discharge.

"The time was slow, but now I feel affectionate... Looking back, it's not a big deal, but why was I so nervous and rigid back then," J-Hope said in Korean, as translated into English.

"I'm looking back on my military life in extreme F state. I'm proud!" he added.

J-Hope is set to be discharged from his mandatory military service on October 17, following Jin's discharge in June.

Earlier, J-Hope also posted a set of photos with award-winning musician Pharell on Instagram with the caption: "P&J. Can't wait for 2025," seemingly hinting on an upcoming collaboration.

Just before his enlistment, J-Hope released solo album Hope on the Street Vol. 1 in February and a docuseries with the same title on Prime Video in March.

The rest of the BTS members still on duty will be discharged in 2025, the same year of their anticipated official comeback as a group.
