Dave Grohl reveals he fathered a child outside of marriage
Dave Grohl revealed he has fathered a child outside of his marriage.
The musician announced the news in an Instagram statement.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he added. “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Grohl did not reveal any further details about his newborn daughter or the mother of his new child.
Grohl has been married to director Jordyn Blum since 2003. They have three daughters: Violet, Harper, and Ophelia.
According to CNN, Grohl and Blum were previously seen at Wimbledon in July.
Grohl is best known for being the frontman of the Foo Fighters and the former drummer of Nirvana.
