Jungkook of BTS thanks ARMYs on his birthday

Jungkook of BTS has nothing but gratitude for his beloved fans as he celebrated his birthday on Sunday.

On WeVerse, the K-pop star penned a short but sweet message, thanking ARMYs for wishing him a happy birthday.

“ARMY, thank you for wishing me a happy birthday. I’m doing fine. I’ll finish the rest of my military service well,” Jungkook wrote in Korean and translated into English by WeVerse.

“I hope ARMYs [are] doing well in the meantime,” he added.

Jungkook is currently serving in the South Korean military. Before enlisting in December 2023, he released his album "Golden" in November.

The 11-track album has the previously released hits "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)," as well as the clean and explicit versions of "Seven (feat. Latto)."

Jungkook is nominated for Best Collaboration and Best K-Pop, both for "Seven" at the MTV Video Music Awards 2024.

He and fellow member Jimin have a travel show titled "Are You Sure?" which premiered in August.

The BTS Golden Maknae will be dropping his documentary film “I Am Still” in cinemas on September 18.

The BTS members are currently serving in the South Korean military. Jin has already been discharged in June. The group is expected to reconvene in 2025.
