BTS's V recalls the time Jungkook spontaneously flew to Hawaii for vacation with him

Did you know? Jungkook of BTS once flew 4,687 miles from South Korea just to spend a vacation with his fellow member V!

On Instagram story on Sunday, V posted some photos with Jungkook from their Hawaii trip. 

In the caption, the BTS member detailed that while he was in Hawaii for a vacation, he told Jungkook, "Jungkook, I'm in Hawaii right now. I want to see you," as translated from Korean to English. 

The group's golden maknae then quickly flew to the island chain to see his beloved hyung. 

This heartwarming moment quickly went viral online with the phrases TAEKOOK (Taehyung and Jungkook), and Kim Taehyung trending on X (formerly Twitter). 

Both V and Jungkook are currently serving in the South Korean military. V enlisted on December 11, while Jungkook enlisted on December 12.

In March, V released his single "FRI(END)S." He also starred in IU's music video for "Love Wins All" and was featured in UMI's song "Wherever U R."

Meanwhile, Jungkook released a new song titled "Never Let Go" in June as a gift for his beloved anniversary on BTS's 11th anniversary.
