Yasmien Kurdi posts throwback 'Starstruck' video and fans are nostalgic

Yasmien Kurdi brought fans back to 2003 in her throwback “Starstruck” video!

The Kapuso actress shared clips from her audition on the classic GMA reality talent search on Instagram.

A 15-year-old Yasmien could be heard say9ing, “Kasi sabi po nila, may fes po ako. Tapos second po, may talent po ako. Tapos third po, makapal po talaga ang mukha ko.”

She added, “Talagang gustong gusto ko po maging artista. Pag nakikita ko ‘yung mga artista, sabi ko, ‘yes, I’ll be a star someday!’”

Fans turned nostalgic in the comments section and looked back on how they supported Yasmien.

“Bias kita sa batch 1,” a fan said. “Naalala ko ang iyak ko nung hindi ikaw ang Ultimate Survivor.”

Another fan said, “Yung picture mo nung high school na wallet size nasa photo album ko pa rin."

Yasmien was named the “Starstruck” Batch 1 First Princess. Rainier Castillo was First Prince, Mark Herras was Ultimate Male Survivor, and Jennylyn Mercado was Ultimate Female Survivor.

Aside from being a Kapuso actress, Yasmien is a loving wife to Rey Soldevilla and mom to Ayesha Zara and Raya Layla.
