ITZY’s Lia resumes group activities following health-related hiatus

ITZY’s Lia is back after nearly 10 months of hiatus!

According to a Saksi report on Monday, Lia’s agency JYP Entertainment announced the K-pop star will be resuming her activities with the group, after her “tension and symptoms of anxiety have significantly improved” following some treatment and rest.

Her most-anticipated comeback will start with ITZY’s new album that is set to be released in the second half of the year, JYP added.

This statement came after ITZY held a live broadcast for their fan club’s fifth anniversary on Monday, where the entire group, including Lia, participated.

In September last year, JYP Entertainment announced's Lia's break due to health reasons. She has remained in hiatus since then, missing all ITZY’s activities that year, including their performance at the Asia Artist Awards in December.

The five-piece group is set to return to Manila this August 3 for their “Born To Be” World Tour.

ITZY dropped their comeback album “Born to Be” on January 8.
