LANY's Paul Klein gets into a vehicular accident, postpones Australia and New Zealand shows

LANY's Paul Klein just got into a vehicular accident and has announced the band's shows in Australia and New Zealand have been postponed to make way for his recovery.

Klein took to social media to inform their fans and followers of the unfortunate event that took place last Thursday night.

"I got hit by a car while I was on my Vespa heading home from the gym," he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Wednesday morning (Manila time).

"I don’t really remember anything after the collision… I woke up on a stretcher being put into an ambulance," he added.

According to Klein, all his vitals are good but his mobility remains a challenge. While he is "progressively getting better," his doctors "have advised we reschedule our upcoming shows in Australia and New Zealand to fast track my recovery."

"For those of you that have purchased a ticket for Aus/NZ, hold onto them and the new dates will be released shortly," he said,

Meanwhile, all their tour dates have remained in place.

LANY is scheduled to perform in Manila and Cebu in October.

In his post on X, Klein shared snaps of himself recovering in the hospital.

Thanking their followers for understanding, he said "This experience has only intensified the feelings of purpose I have, so I can’t wait to heal up and get back to it."

"I love you and this life deeply! See u soon," he concluded.

LANY was previously in the Philippines back in 2022 for a five-day concert. Zack Tabudlo and Juan Karlos joined them onstage in separate shows.

Composed of Klein and Jake Clifford Goss, LANY is known for hits like “ILYSB,” “Malibu Nights,” “pink skies,” and many more.
