TWICE’s Dahyun cast as lead in remake of hit Taiwanese film “You Are the Apple of My Eye” — report 

Twice’s Dahyun in a movie? Consider us seated!

Soompi cited Korean news outlet Xportsnews in its report about the K-pop star being casted as the female lead in the Korean adaptation of “You Are the Apple of My Eye.” 

According to Soompi, Dahyun’s agency JYP Entertainment has responded, confirming the news and saying their artist is “currently reviewing it.”

The popular Taiwanese romance film “You Are the Apple of My Eye” follows the story of the high school troublemaker Ko Ching Teng and the model student Shen Chia Yi spanning from their school years to 15 years later. 

Should Dahyun accept the role, she will portray the character of Shen Chia Yi from the original film. 

This will also be Dahyun’s second acting project, after the 25 year-old actress was previously confirmed to make her acting debut in the upcoming independent feature film “Sprint.”

Dahyun debuted with Twice in 2015. The nine-piece group is set to return to the Philippines for a fan meet on June 1.
