'Queen of Tears' finale beats 'Crash Landing On You' for highest viewership rating on Korean channel tvN
The finale episode of “Queen of Tears” is officially the highest-rated episode of any drama in Korean channel tvN history.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 16 of “Queen of Tears,” which aired on Sunday, recorded a whopping rating of 24.850%, overtaking “Crash Landing on You” which garnered 21.683% in February 2020.
As of writing, the hit K-Drama series dominates Netflix Philippines’ chart as the Top 1 TV show.
Top-billed by Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, “Queen of Tears” also made history as the “most-watched program of any kind” in South Korea on Saturday for episode 15.
"Queen of Tears" follows the story of Hong Hae In (Ji Won), a third-generation chaebol heiress of Queens Group, and her husband Baek Hyun Woo (Soo Hyun), a lawyer and the legal director of the company. The couple is on the brink of divorce.
