‘Boys Over Flowers’ star Ku Hye Sun to graduate Summa Cum Laude 

Ku Hye Sun will be graduating from college with flying colors!

In an Instagram post, the 39-year-old South Korean actress shared her graduation portrait alongside her University’s announcement, and a photo showing her very impressive 4.27 GPA. 

"Hello everyone. It's been a while. Finally, after a long journey, I am going to graduate on 23rd," she wrote in Korean and translated in English by Instagram. 

“I'm writing this with a happy heart that I will be able to graduate with high honors (Summa Cum Laude),” she added. 

Ku proceeded to thank her alma mater, Sunkyungkwan University, its alumni and professors who helped her, saying that she will never forget them. 

Ku is widely known for her role as Geum Jan Di in the 2009 Korean drama “Boys Over Flowers,” a TV adaptation of the Japanese manga of the same name.

Its Taiwanese version “Meteor Garden” became a hit sensation in the early 2000s, especially in the Philippines. 

Aside from “Boys Over Flowers,” she also starred he also starred in "Take Care of Us, Captain," "Angel Eyes” and “Blood." 

Ku was previously married to her fellow “Blood” actor Ahn Jae Hyun in 2016 and became legally divorced in 2020.
