Marvel announces new ‘Fantastic Four’ cast

After months and even years of speculation among fans, Marvel Studios on Wednesday finally announced the cast of the new "Fantastic Four" movie.

"Happy Valentine’s Day from Marvel’s First Family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four," Marvel said in posts on social media, accompanied with an illustration of the four actors already in character.

Pascal ("The Mandalorian," "The Last Of Us") will play Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mister Fantastic; Kirby ("The Crown") will play Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman; Quinn ("Stranger Things" and the upcoming "A Quiet Place" prequel) will play Johnny Storm, the Human Torch; and Moss-Bachrach (an Emmy winner for his work in "The Bear") will play Ben Grimm, the Thing.

The film will be in theaters on July 25, 2025.
