Taylor Swift wins Album of the Year at the Grammys, becomes 1st artist to win the award four times

Taylor Swift has won the Album of the Year at the Grammys for "Midnights."

It is already one hell of a recognition as it is, but the accolade is made sweeter for the American pop star who became the first to have coveted the award four times.

No other artist in the 66-year Grammys history has claimed the honor four times. Music legends Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder won three each.

Taylor went up against the Olivia Rodrigo (GUTS), Miley Cyrus (Endless Summer Vacation), Lana Del Rey (Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd), Janelle Monáe (The Age Of Pleasure), and the heavily favored SZA (SOS), boygenius (the record), and the lone male contender Jon Batiste (World Music Radio).

Earlier during the awarding ceremony, Taylor announced a new album, "The Tortured Poets Department," to drop on April 19, when she accepted the trophy for Best Pop Vocal Album.

Congratulations Taylor! You are such a queen!
