Ashley Park is now in France for 'Emily in Paris' following near-death experience

Ashley Park took to social media to give a health update after being admitted to a hospital for “critical septic shock.”

On Instagram, the “Emily in Paris” actress said she is now recovering in Paris, France after she was cleared to travel.

“I’m deeply moved and thankful for your beautiful messages of support and comfort, your personal stories of sepsis and hospitalization, and truly to every person who has reached out with love,” Ashley wrote.

“Every message has honestly boosted me into a quick and hopeful recovery,” she added.

The Korean-American actress also expressed her gratitude to Netflix and the “Emily in Paris” team for “their genuine kindness and gracious patience” as she awaits to be “medically cleared to work.”

“I couldn’t be more excited to join [them] all on set for Season 4,” she said.

“I promise I’m breathing through this all and taking as much care of myself as I can to get back into fighting shape,” she added.

She ended her post by thanking Lily Collins for the “couch cuddles” as she continues to rest up.

Earlier this month, Ashley was hospitalized for septic shock, a life-threatening illness caused by blood pressure dropping to a dangerously low level due to an infection.

Meanwhile, Lily and the rest of the “Emily in Paris” cast are currently filming Season 4 in France.
