SEVENTEEN's Woozi releases song in honor of ASTRO's Moonbin on his birthday

SEVENTEEN’s Woozi honored his late friend, ASTRO’S Moonbin, on what would have been his 26th birthday.

Titled “What Kind of Future,” the song officially dropped on January 26.

Woozi previously shared the ballad with CARATs, and said that it is important to him. He also said that Moonbin loved the song when he heard it, and so he promised to release it one day.

Moonbin died at the age of 25 last April. He was found unresponsive in his apartment in Gangnam, Seoul.

Aside from being a member of ASTRO, he was also part of the subunit Moonbin & Sanha. The duo visited Manila in March 2023 for a concert.

Woozi’s fellow SEVENTEEN member Seungkwan also paid tribute to Moonbin by sharing clips of him in a self-edited music video.

SEVENTEEN was in the Philippines this January for a two-night concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium as part of their FOLLOW Tour.
