SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan shares clips of ASTRO's Moonbin in birthday video

SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan shared a personal music video for his birthday, and it touched fans’ hearts because ASTRO’s Moonbin was featured in it.

Everybody’s precious Boo posted a cover of Choi Yu Ree's "Shape" for his 26th birthday on January 16, along with a self-edited music video.

The video featured the important people in Seungkwan’s life, including his mother, fellow SEVENTEEN members, and CARATs.

What was especially touching was Seungkwan’s inclusion of clips with ASTRO’s Moonbin, his close friend and fellow K-Pop idol who passed away in 2023. The final clip is also a shot of the moon.

Seungkwan included more of his idol friends like VIVIZ's Umji and SinB, Lee Suji, and Billlie's Moon Sua.

Moonbin died at the age of 25 last April. He was found unresponsive in his apartment in Gangnam, Seoul.

Aside from being a member of ASTRO, he was also part of the subunit Moonbin & Sanha. The duo visited Manila in March 2023 for a concert.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN was in the Philippines this January for a two-night concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium as part of their FOLLOW Tour.

Seungkwan, along with members DK and Hoshi are part of the BSS subunit. They were in the country in December for the Asia Artist Awards, where they performed “Fighting.” —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
