Paramore to be included in Talking Heads tribute album 'Stop Making Sense'

Paramore to have a cover on Talking Heads tribute album

Paramore never left!

On social media, the band teased their collaboration with iconic rock band, Talking Heads with a cute teaser video.

It starts with vocalist Hayley Williams opening a package that contains Talking Heads singer David Byrne’s memorable large suit.

A snippet of Paramore’s cover of the classic “Burning Down the House” then plays.

The cover will be part of the Talking Heads tribute album, “Stop Making Sense” which will feature 16 covers by 16 artists. “Burning Down the House” will be the first track.

A release date is yet to be announced, but the video teaser said it is “coming soon.”

“Stop Making Sense” is also the name of Talking Heads’ concert film, released in 1983 and remastered in 2023 for its 40th anniversary.

Paramore’s cover comes after the band deleted their social media posts, sparking breakup rumors.

The band has now fulfilled all contract obligations with Atlantic Records, and said that they have an uncertain future.

Paramore released their comeback album “This is Why” in February 2023 and went on tour in support of it.

“This is Why” holds the released singles, “The News,” “C’est Comme Ca,” and the title track of the same name.

The band joined Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour last March and is set to join her again in Europe this year.

Hayley was also featured in Taylor’s song “Castles Crumbling,” from the album “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).”
