Taylor Swift reacts to Jo Koy's joke at Golden Globes 2024

Taylor Swift is not having it.

While Jo Koy is currently making history as the first Filipino-American to host the prestigious Golden Globes awards, the comedian's jokes are simply not landing well to an audience filled with Hollywood's A-listers and respectable personalities.

Case in point: Taylor Swift.

Jo Koy made a joke about the difference between the Golden Globes and the National Football League.

"At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift," he said on stage.

On X (formerly Twitter), Variety Magazine shared a video clip of Taylor Swift's reaction: the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker could only give a stoic reaction as she pursed her lips before sipping on her drink.

 As of writing, the tweet has already generated 7,830 likes, 2,923 quotes, and 1,223 bookmarks.

Both Jo Koy and Taylor are currently trending on X, the former with over 20,600 posts talking about his bad jokes, and Taylor with about 438K posts on her succinct reaction.

For those who didn't know, the joke was in reference to Taylor's new boyfriend Travis Kelce, an NFL star. 

Last month, Jo Koy was announced as the host of the newly revamped Golden Globes.
