'The Little Mermaid' actress Halle Bailey welcomes first child
"The Little Mermaid" star Halle Bailey has welcomed a new bundle of joy as part of her world this 2024!
The 23-year-old American actress announced on Sunday that she has given birth to her first child through an Instagram photo, which shows her holding the tiny hands of her baby boy.
Halle named her son Halo.
"Even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son," she wrote in the caption. "Welcome to the world my Halo. World is desperate to know you," Halle added.
The baby sported a gold bracelet with his name engraved on a plate.
Halo is Halle's child with boyfriend, 25-year-old rapper DDG.
Halle and DDG, whose name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. in real life, first sparked dating rumors in January 2022. They confirmed their relationship in March 2022.
Aside from starring as Ariel in the live-action of Walt Disney's animated movie "The Little Mermaid," Halle also appeared in the musical film, "The Color Purple."
