Blackpink's Jennie launches own label 'Odd Atelier'

Blackpink's Jennie launches her own label 'Odd Atelier'

Blackpink member Jennie has launched her own label, Odd Atelier, which will focus on her promotions as a solo artist.

On Instagram, Odd Atelier (OA) shared photos of Jennie in black and white as its first posts.

The label said it was founded last month.

"OA, which stands for ODD ATELIER, is a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected," OA said.

Jennie released her own statement on Instagram stories.

"This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I'm so thankful for all the love I've received. I'm also excited about what's to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA," she said.

"Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, Blackpink. Thank you," she added.

This comes after YG Entertainment officially confirmed that all Blackpink members have renewed the exclusive contract for their group activities with the label.

Jennie is the first Blackpink member to establish a solo label after they renewed their contract with YG Entertainment.

Jennie, together with fellow Blackpink members Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo, debuted in 2016 with "Boombayah" and "Whistle."

She made her solo debut in 2019 with the song "SOLO." In October, Jennie has released her new solo single "You and Me."
