Jimin from BTS releases heartwarming new single, music video for ‘Closer Than This’
Jimin from BTS touched the hearts of ARMY with his newest single and music video for “Closer Than This.”
Jimin starts the video with a behind-the-scenes look at writing and recording the song, which he hopes would be a way to tell fans not to worry.
The artist also looks back on BTS’ debut and how ARMY has stayed and supported them since then. Jimin also tells fans that although BTS is on a hiatus, they will “never let you go” and look forward to reuniting.
The “Closer Than This” music video shows clips from BTS’ past concerts and moments from their 10-year career.
Jimin released his debut solo album “Face” last March, which has the singles “Set Me Free Pt. 2” and "Like Crazy." The top idol is also part of the soundtrack of “Fast X.”
In April, Jimin became the first Korean soloist to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
BTS is currently on hiatus as the members undergo their mandatory military service. They are set to reconvene as a group in 2025.
As the BTS ARMY misses their favorite boys, the new docuseries titled “BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star” is now streaming on Disney+. Fans can also turn to some of the band’s comforting songs.
