It was Taylor Swift who broke up with Taylor Lautner, the actor revealed in a recent podcast episode of "Call Her Daddy."

According to the "Twlight actor," it was Swift who "absolutely" ended their relationship. “I’m thinking back on exactly what happened. But no, yeah, she did," Billboard quoted Lautner as saying.

“I think when you respect somebody for who they are, like in their soul, it allows you to move on, forgive and continue that love in a different way," Lautner continued.

The 31-year-old actor shared they continued to be friendly after the breakup "but we then did fall out of touch and didn’t talk for a while,” People quoted Lautner.

The two dated briefly in 2009 and famously rekindled their friendship this year. Lautner even starred in Swift's music video for “I Can See You (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault),” alongside Joey King and Presley Cash.

 Shortly after the video's release in July, Taylor Swift recreated the famous Spider-Man meme with Lautner and his wife Taylor Dome and posted it on her Instagram.

In the podcast, Lautner said becoming friends again with Swift is "one of the greater things to happen in my life over the last year."

It's absolutely cool. Lautner is now married, as earlier mentioned, while Swift is happily in a relationship with footballer Travis Kelce.
