BTS releases info on military enlistment of Jungkook, Jimin, RM, and V

BTS’ record label, BigHit Music, has released additional information on the military enlistment of members RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

According to a statement released on Tuesday, the members will be fulfilling their required time in the army.

“RM and V will be enlisting according to their respective procedures, while Jimin and Jung Kook are scheduled to enlist together," it said.

The agency added that there will be no official event on the day of the members’ entry. The entrance ceremony will only be observed by military personnel and their families. Fans are advised to not visit the site to prevent any issues such as crowding.

“Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts only,” BigHit said.

They also reminded fans to not purchase any tours or products that illegally use BTS’ intellectual property, and thanked the BTS ARMY for their love and support.

“We ask for your continued love and support for RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook until they complete their military service and return. Our company will also strive to provide all the support they need during this time."

BTS is currently on group hiatus as the members undergo their mandatory military service, with Jin, SUGA, and J-Hope currently serving. They are set to reconvene as a group in 2025.

The seven global artists launched their solo careers starting in 2022. All members have also renewed their contracts with BigHit in September.
