V of BTS teases fans with new haircut

Days after BTS announced their preparation for military enlistment, V surprised his fans with a new haircut on Sunday! 

On Instagram stories, the BTS member shared a photo of his chopped hair on the floor. In the caption, he put a haircut emoji.

He did not show the final look of his new hairdo, but fans were quick to realize that it's probably in preparation for his military service.

"I'll always be with your journey through your military years up until you come back," an ARMY said.

"Taehyung if you’re reading this you are amazing! Please stay safe in the military and we will all miss you!" another wrote.

On November 22, BIGHIT Music announced that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are "preparing to fulfill their military duties."

Following the news, Jungkook announced that he would enlist in the military in December in a letter he posted in Weverse.

Three BTS members are already serving in the South Korean military. Jin enlisted in December 2022, followed by J-Hope in April 2023, and Suga in September 2023.

BTS is expected to reconvene as a group in 2025.
