Stars of the hit sitcom Modern Family just had their first reunion

Who’s crying?

The stars of the hit 2009 TV series “Modern Family" have just had their reunion, and the internet is buzzing with excitement!

On social media, “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara shared some lovely photos from their reunion.

The 51-year-old actress played the character of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the beloved sitcom.

“First Modern Family Reunion!" Sofia wrote in the caption.

In the photos, Sofia stood close to her onscreen husband, Ed O’Neill, and son, Rico Rodriguez.

The reunion was incomplete, though, as Ty Burrell, who played the character of Phil Dunphy, was unable to attend the event. Nevertheless, his on-screen daughter, Ariel Winter (Alex), made sure that his presence was felt as she posed with the group while holding Burrell’s photo.

The rest of the Dunphy family, including matriarch Julie Bowen, eldest daughter Sarah Hyland, and son Nolan Gould, were all present and seen in the photos.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, and their onscreen daughter, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, were also present.

Fans can’t help but feel nostalgic about the heartwarming reunion of their favorite sitcom.

"I'm so happy to see you all together. I love it,” a Facebook follower commented.

“Great to see; had many laughs over the years! ," another netizen said.

"Modern Family” is an American sitcom that ran for 11 seasons from September 23, 2009, to April 8, 2020. The show follows the lives of three diverse family set-ups living in suburban Los Angeles, California.
