Jimmy Kimmel returns as host for 96th Academy Awards

Fourth time’s a charm?

In a recent Instagram post, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that Jimmy Kimmel is set to host the 96th Academy Awards.

This marks the late-night show host’s fourth stint as the Oscars host .

Kimmel made sure to post about the assignment on Facebook saying, “I am enthused to announce that I am returning to host the #Oscars on Sunday, March 10th. Please keep it between us, thanks.”

Adding to the excitement, Kimmel' s wife, Molly McNearney, will also return as the executive producer for the second consecutive year.

The 96th Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 10 at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
