G-Dragon reportedly booked for drug charges


G-Dragon has reportedly been booked by the police for drug-related violations.

According to South Korean media, the BIGBANG member was booked without detention by the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency on the charge of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics, Etc.

Authorities are expected to call him in for questioning in the coming days, Yonhap News Agency reported.

G-Dragon’s former agency YG Entertainment told Xportsnews, “[G-Dragon] is currently not an artist under our agency, so it is difficult for us to make an official response.”

His exclusive contract with the agency expired in June.

G-Dragon rose to fame as the leader of BIGBANG, which debuted in 2006. He released his first solo album “Heartbreaker” in 2009. His solo hits include “Untitled, 2014,” “CROOKED,” “Without You (feat. ROSE),” and more.
