Rowoon leaves SF9, addresses fans through heartfelt letter
Rowoon wrote a heartfelt letter to his fans following his departure from K-pop group SF9.
On Monday, Korean entertainment site Soompi posted a translation of the hand-written letter posted on SF9's official fan cafe.
"I participated in scheduled activities with a grateful heart for each and every precious memory during the past seven years," Rowoon said.
"I'm only filled with gratitude as I'm writing [this letter] while looking back on my life. This is also thanks to everyone."
Rowoon said he wants to take on a new challenge as he turns 27 years old this year.
"I really didn't know at all how to say this or where and how I should start speaking, but I want to take the courage to convey that I want to take on a new challenge," he said.
"Please keep watch so that 27-year-old Kim Seok Woo (his real name) can live a life that he can be responsible for."
Rowoon has starred in several K-dramas such as "The King's Affection," "Tomorrow," "Destined With You."
SF9, who is famous for their songs "Tear Drop," "Good Guy," "Now or Never," "Trauma," and "O Sole Mio," among others, will continue as a group of eight.
