Jennifer Garner to return as Elektra in 'Deadpool 3' — report

Jennifer Garner is bringing back the role of Elektra for Marvel Studios' "Deadpool 3" after almost 20 years of hiatus.

In a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the actress is said to reprise the role of the assassin antiheroine Elektra according to multiple reliable sources.

In "Deadpool 3," Jennifer is set to work with director Shawn Levy and lead actor Ryan Reynolds.

In September 2022, Hugh Jackman was also confirmed to return as Wolverine.

"Deadpool 3" will be the first film in the franchise to be made by Marvel Studios after 20th Century Fox released the first two in 2016 and 2018.

It is set for release in 2024.
