J-Hope of BTS posts pictures, updates from the military

J-Hope of BTS has shared an update, the first since he enlisted in the South Korean military in April.

Sharing photos of himself in uniform on Weverse, the rapper and dancer said he has completed his initial training, which spans five weeks before soldiers are relocated to a military base.

"The letters and support that you have all sent have been a great help, that I was able to work hard while receiving training," he said, according to fan translations. "I'll continue to work hard and show you good sides of me during the rest of my time where I'll be wearing the uniform! I love you!!"

J-Hope is the second BTS member to enlist, following Jin who enlisted in December.

BTS is expected to reconvene in 2025. Currently, they are focusing on their solo careers. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
