Bela Padilla gets a selfie with Song Joong Ki
Bela Padilla is the luckiest!
On Instagram Tuesday, the Filipina celebrity shared a photo with South Korean celebrity Song Joong Ki taken at the Cannes Film Festival.
"He’s so chill and friendly," Bela said, as she thanked Filipino director Adolf Alix, Jr., for spotting Joong Ki from the crowd.
Adolf also posted the photo he was able to take of the Vincenzo actor and said, "Big Boss is a nice guy and very accommodating."
Streams of excited comments from Filipino celebrities like Angelica Panganiban, Kuya Kim, Tim Yap, Camille Prats, Dianne Medina, and Gelli de Belen peppered the comment section of both Bela's and Adolf's posts.
Both Bela and Adolf are attending the Cannes Film Festival as filmmakers, with Bela saying in a previous IG reel that the education she is getting from the film fest is unlike any other.
"To give myself this opportunity to be here amongst like minded people is such a gift," she wrote. "I feel inspired to write again and I’m now hungry for more. we’ve been watching films that opened my eyes again…and I’ve met cinematographers, distributors, directors, composers, girl bosses, guy bosses (that support girl bosses) and the conversations have been so inspiring."
"Follow your dreams. It’ll be scary. But it’s really the best you can do for yourself and the people around you," Bela added.
And if it leads to a Song Joong Ki sighting, all the better, amirite?
