Zendaya sings 'Euphoria' songs at Coachella for her first live performance in more than seven years
Zendaya made a surprise return to the stage at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival for her first live performance after more than seven years.
She joined singer Labrinth to sing their Emmy-nominated song, “I’m Tired,” from the TV show, "Euphoria."
She also sang the song, “All of Us,” from the TV series.
The singer wore a pink minidress with white inner top and thigh-high black boots. She accessorized the look with big silver hoop earrings.
On Instagram Stories, she wrote, in part, "My heart is so full, I can't thank you enough for the love I received tonight."
She also posted a video message and said, "I just wanted to say thank you again for such a magical, beautiful night."
"Thank you to Lab for inviting me and making all this happen so last minute," she continued.
"Thank you to that gorgeous crowd. I have never heard screaming like that in my entire life. As soon as I turned the corner, I couldn't hear anything but you, guys," she added.
"I don't know what I sounded like, but I was just like, 'You know what? I'm just gonna have fun.' And whatever, you know? It was so special and everybody was singing along and it was so cool," she concluded.
Sia and Maddie Ziegler also joined Labrinth for a performance of “Thunderclouds.” Labrinth brought out Billie Eilish on stage last week.
Back in June 2022, Zendaya talked about focusing on her acting career over her music career for Variety.
"It's because as an actress, there's a level of anonymity that I get to have, which I really enjoy. And I can sort my stuff, whatever it is, through a character, and nobody needs to know about it," she said.
"Whereas in other ways and other means, it's all you all the time. I like the idea that someone else, namely [my "Euphoria" character] Rue, can take on these things. I walked away from music a long time ago, for various reasons."
In 2022, Zendaya made history as the youngest two-time Emmy winner for acting.
