Jimin from BTS becomes the first Korean soloist to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart
Jimin from BTS has made history!
The vocalist and dancer has officially become the first South Korean soloist to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his single “Like Crazy.”
“Like Crazy” is part of his debut solo album “Face.” The album opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and is the second-largest debut week of the year.
As Jimin took to Instagram to say, “Love u all” with a purple heart, his BTS bandmates shared how proud they were of him.
“I’m proud,” RM wrote on Instagram Stories.
“Yes, Park Jimin is so cool,” SUGA said in a Weverse comment.
“Jimin-ah you're so cool and I'm so proud of you.. Hyung is all tearing up.. You've worked hard, many congratulations!!!!!” J-Hope said in a Weverse post, according to fan translations.
Jimin has already followed up "Face" with “Set Me Free Pt. 2.”
Jimin made the live debut of “Like Crazy” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
