Is Lady Gaga playing Harley Quinn in the upcoming 'Joker' movie?

Lady Gaga took to the streets of New York in full costume for her role in the upcoming "Joker: Folie à Deux" movie with Joaquin Phoenix.

While Variety reports Lady Gaga's role has not been confirmed, her makeup and costume suggest she may play Harley Quinn, the Joker's love interest in the comics.

Lady Gaga's costume is by Oscar nominated Arianne Philips.

A photo of Lady Gaga and Joaquin on the set of the film was also released on Valentine's Day.

"Joker: Folie à Deux," is scheduled for release on October 4, 2024.

The working title, "Folie à Deux," means "madness for two" in French.
