Hyun Bin, Son Ye Jin to take legal action over divorce rumors

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are planning to take legal action after they became the subject of divorce rumors online. 

According to a Soompi report, a YouTube video claimed that Son Ye Jin suffered financial losses after Hyun Bin gambled abroad. This caused the Korean power couple to divorce by mutual agreement, the video alleged.

The couple's respective agencies released separate statements denying the allegations.

"[The YouTuber's claims are] groundless. It is fake news. We are constantly monitoring the rumors. We plan to take legal action after an internal review," said Hyun Bin's agency VAST Entertainment.

"This is obviously fake news. We are constantly monitoring [the situation] internally, and we have already requested YouTube to delete the video. We will take strong measures, and we also plan to take legal action in relation to the content [of the video]," echoed Son Ye Jin's agency MSteam Entertainment.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin tied the knot in March last year. They welcomed their first child, a son, in November.

The couple starred together in hit Korean series "Crash Landing On You."
