Family and friends' planned intervention for Britney Spears falls apart — report
Britney Spears's inner circle, including husband Sam Asghari, reportedly planned an intervention for her but the plans fell apart at the last minute.
People magazine reported that multiple sources are concerned about the pop star.
"Britney has been acting increasingly erratically and those around her have grown more concerned," a source told People magazine. "She is often up all night, sleeps during [the] day and has a lot of anger."
They also reported that while the intervention didn't push through, Britney, 41, met with a doctor and it "went well," but the next steps are not clear.
It was also not immediately clear what type of doctor she met with.
TMZ reported that aside from Britney's husband, her manager was also involved in the planned intervention. However, Britney's mom, sister, and two sons were apparently not involved.
The report also said that the intervention fell apart after Britney became somewhat aware of the plans.
Until recently, Britney was under a conservatorship that was under her father's control for more than 13 years. Britney said that she felt unsafe asking for help.
Britney married Sam in June 2021.
