South Korean actor Yoo Ah In tests positive for marijuana

South Korean actor Yoo Ah In has tested positive for marijuana.

According to a Soompi report, police investigated Ah In during his return to South Korea from the United States. He underwent a urine test and a hair test.

The award-winning actor’s agency, UAA, said they haven’t received a notice about Ah In’s urine test result yet, adding they will continue to abide by protocols during the investigation.

The 36-year-old is also being investigated for the alleged illegal use of propofol, which is an anesthetic drug "used to help you relax or sleep before and during surgery or other medical procedures," according to the Mayo Clinic.

Ah In starred in numerous dramas and films such as "Hellbound," "Secret Affair," "Chicago Typewriter," "Fashion King," "Burning," and "Voice of Silence." — Franchesca Viernes/VBL, GMA Integrated News
