Paramore is back with new album ‘This is Why’

They’re back, baby!

Paramore’s new album “This is Why” is here, and it might just hold our new rage anthems.

On their social media pages, the band comprised of Hayley Williams, Zac Farro, and Taylor York shared some feelings and experiences they had in the five-and-a-half years since their last album, “After Laughter.”

According to the band, “This is Why” is influenced by moments of “Righteous Rage; Confused About The Difference Between Selfishness and Self-Preservation; Complete and Utter Apathy; Cabin Fever; Deep-Seated Vengefulness; Nostalgia For Things You’ve Not Yet Experienced and Did Not Know You Even Wanted To; Resignation,” and many, many others.

Paramore told fans that if they’ve experienced something similar, “Then oh boy, do we have an album for you.”

“This is Why” holds the previously released songs, “The News,” “C’est Comme Ca,” and the title track of the same name.

Fans say that Paramore’s new songs are a mix of their eras. Their angsty emo days and their funky style from recent years have all blended together into songs that make a statement.
