Tim Allen, Buzz Lightyear's voice actor, confirms 'Toy Story 5' is coming

To infinity and beyond! "Toy Story 5" is officially coming!

Tim Allen, who voices Buzz Lightyear, confirmed the news on Facebook, Thursday, with a photo of the well-loved character.

"See ya soon Woody, you are a sad, strange, little man and you have my pity. And off we go to number 5! To infinity and beyond," he wrote with the hashtag #ToyStory5.

As of writing, the announcement has attracted over 44,000 reactions, 8,600 comments, and 28,000 shares.

Though there has yet to be a release date, The Independent reported that it might come on it's 30th anniversary, which is in 2025. "Toy Story 4" was released in 2019.
