TWICE to receive Billboard Women in Music’s Breakthrough Award

Here’s some great news for ONCE!

TWICE is headed to Los Angeles in March because they are set to attend the annual Billboard Women in Music Awards and will receive the Breakthrough Award.

On Twitter, the girls said that they are “honored” to attend and receive the award.

“We can’t wait to see you there!” TWICE added.

The event will be held on March 1 at the YouTube Theater.

More honorees include Becky G with the Impact Award, Doechii with the Rising Star Award, Ivy Queen with the Icon Award, Kim Petras with the Chartbreaker Award, Latto with the Powerhouse Award, Lainey Wilson with the Rulebreaker Award, and Lana Del Rey with the Visionary Award.

According to Billboard, the awards honor women across generations and music genres who define today’s sound.

TWICE recently released their danceable second English single “Moonlight Sunrise.”

The nine-member girl group of Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu will also be dropping their 12th mini album in March. — LA, GMA Integrated News
